Torres made an immediate impact at 79th minute when he found Sturridge in the middle, who was in an offiside position but his header was way beyond the target. A superb reflex from Cech in the 86th minute as he superbly saves Sandro’ shot which gets deflected of Meireles. Another chance went begging for Chelsea in the 87th minute when Mata’ free-kick reaches the Brazilian midfielder, Ramires who was unmarked, steers the ball wide. So close from Meireles has he volleys from 30 yards but just goes wide of the goal post. The save of the day??
