Does it means Benitez stays?Chelsea interim boss Rafael Benitez would not comment on whether seeing Pep Guardiola take the Bayern Munich job enhances his prospects with the Blues.

Guardiola, who had been linked with the Stamford Bridge post, will take charge of Bayern next summer.

Benitez, who is in charge of the Blues until the end of the season, was asked if that strengthened his position.

He responded: “Guardiola has gone there and it’s good for him. We will try to be ready for our next game.”

When asked if there were any ongoing discussions about his future, he replied: “I have to concentrate on the game. You say that we have some problems at home so I will try to concentrate on the game. That is my job.”
